Panzerkampfwagen I (Pz.Kpfw.I, Pz.I) - German light tank of the 1930s. In Western literature is also commonly called Panzer I, in the Soviet literature is traditionally designated as T-1.
The first German serial tank after the First World War, Pz.Kpfw.I was developed in the years 1930-1934 firms "Krupp" and "Daimler-Benz." Mass-produced from 1934 to 1937, was released in 1574 only a tank of this type. In the middle - second half of the 1930s formed the basis Pz.Kpfw.I newly created German armored forces and remained in that role until 1937, when the mass production of better tanks. The first combat use of the tank was held in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War, and later the tank was used extensively by German forces at the beginning of World War II. The tank is armed with only two machine guns. Pointing guns at the target was carried out together (they were attached to the mask obshey), but the shooting could be separated.
