Bohemian archer. Germany. End of the XIV century.
In 1305, Bohemia (historical name of the Czechia) lost Slavic king and became the manager of the Luxembourg dynasty kings. Absorbed by the Holy Roman Empire of the German nation, Bohemia still retain their national identity.
The archer wore a green single-breasted jacket buttoned. Reddish-brown woolen breeches tucked into leather boots, buttoned on the inside on the straps with buckles. A simple bow of the "Western" type in a leather case, case for a bow and quiver hung on the belt. Of protective gear just a helmet-bascinet equipped with a scaly aventail Eastern origin.
